Upper Reach is an environmental education and eco-tourism program within the Roanoke River Basin Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Developed through the efforts of SMLP’s Recreation Access Program, Upper Reach Projects include the development of accessible river access facilities, blueway trail mapping, environmental/interpretive signage design and fabrication, and the promotion of eco-tourism through events, outreach programs and online media.
