At SMLP we believe that providing convenient access to diverse recreational opportunities in every community is essential to providing a healthy, high quality of life . By locating clubs and parks in close proximity to users and providing barrier-free, attractive facilities, the usage of any park is significantly enhanced. Our holistic approach to club, park and recreation planning includes careful consideration of system wide linkages, ADA accessible design, CPTED-Crime Prevention through Environmental Design, environmental education and sustainable building practices. We consider all of these elements to be critical concerns in the planning of all recreational facilities so that the outcome meets the needs of the users while providing the owner/operator an attractive and sustainable facility.
